About Anger Management

After a small misunderstanding aboard an airplane escalates out of control, timid businessman Dave Buznik is ordered by the court to undergo anger management therapy at the hands of specialist Dr. Buddy Rydell. But when Buddy steps up his aggressive treatment by moving in, Dave goes from mild to wild as the unorthodox treatment wreaks havoc with his life.

Our take on Anger Management

Peter Segal's 2003 comedy runs on a single escalating misunderstanding: after a minor incident aboard a plane spirals out of control, timid businessman Dave Buznik is court-ordered into anger management therapy with the unorthodox specialist Dr. Buddy Rydell. When Buddy ramps up his aggressive methods by moving into Dave's home, the mild-mannered protagonist is pushed from meek to unhinged and his whole life descends into chaos. The film is built for the odd-couple friction between a passive everyman and a boundary-trampling therapist. It's a good fit for viewers who want a broad, high-concept studio comedy driven by mounting absurdity and performers bouncing off each other, with no interest in restraint.
