About Avengers: Infinity War

Joe Russo's 2018 blockbuster gathers years of Marvel storylines into a single confrontation, pitting the assembled Avengers against Thanos, a warlord bent on collecting the six Infinity Stones and bending reality to his will. As action-adventure science fiction, it leans hard on scale, crosscutting between scattered heroes and cosmic stakes rather than a single arc. It rewards viewers already invested in this universe, since much of its weight comes from characters you've followed across earlier films. Newcomers may find the sprawling cast disorienting, but fans of large-scale superhero spectacle and villains with genuine conviction will find plenty to chew on. Come knowing this is only half a story.
