Our take on Clash of the Titans
Louis Leterrier's 2010 fantasy adventure reworks Greek myth into big-screen spectacle. Perseus, born of a god but raised as a man, is powerless to save his family from Hades, the vengeful god of the underworld. With nothing left to lose, he leads a perilous mission to stop Hades before he can seize power from Zeus and loose hell upon the earth, facing demons and monstrous beasts along the way. Survival, the film insists, means accepting his own divine nature and defying fate. It leans hard on effects-driven set pieces and mythic scale rather than nuance, making it a fit for viewers who want swords, gods, and creature battles at full volume.
