Mikael Håfström's 2013 action thriller casts Ray Breslin as the world's leading authority on prison security, a man who breaks out of high-security facilities for a living to expose their flaws. When he's framed and locked inside a maximum-security prison he designed himself, his expertise becomes his only way out, and he must engineer an escape while hunting whoever put him there. It's a meat-and-potatoes genre outing built on the appeal of pairing two veteran action stars, trading in tight spaces, brute-force confrontations and puzzle-box plotting. Good, undemanding fun for viewers who want a straightforward prison-break thriller with muscle, gadgets and a ticking sense of forward motion.
