About Fury

April, 1945. As the Allies make their final push in the European Theatre, a battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy commands a Sherman tank and her five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. David Ayer's 2014 war film narrows the final push into Nazi Germany down to the cramped interior of a single Sherman tank. In April 1945, a hardened sergeant nicknamed Wardaddy leads his five-man crew on a lethal mission behind enemy lines, joined by a green recruit who has never seen combat. Outnumbered and outgunned, the men grind through mud and dread as the war's last weeks turn desperate. Claustrophobic, grimy and unsentimental, it dwells on the toll of survival and the bonds forged inside a metal shell.
