About Horrible Bosses

For Nick, Kurt and Dale, the only thing that would make the daily grind more tolerable would be to grind their intolerable bosses into dust. Quitting is not an option, so, with the benefit of a few-too-many drinks and some dubious advice from a hustling ex-con, the three friends devise a convoluted and seemingly foolproof plan to rid themselves of their respective employers... permanently.

Seth Gordon's 2011 crime comedy pairs Nick, Kurt and Dale, three friends fed up with their intolerable employers, who decide that quitting won't cut it and hatch a convoluted plan to be rid of their bosses permanently. Fuelled by too many drinks and dubious advice from a hustling ex-con, the scheme goes exactly as chaotically as you'd expect. The humour runs crude and fast, thriving on the leads' chemistry and escalating bad decisions rather than plot logic. It suits viewers after a raunchy, no-strings ensemble comedy about workplace frustration taken to absurd extremes. Best enjoyed with friends and low expectations of the trio's competence.
