Quentin Tarantino brings his revenge saga to its close in this 2004 action-crime thriller, following the Bride as she pursues the band of assassins who tried to kill her and her unborn child. One by one she seeks out her former associates, checking names off her Death List until only her final target remains: Bill. Where the first volume leaned into stylised carnage, this half slows down for dialogue, backstory and a more elegiac, western-flavoured tone, deepening the characters before the reckoning. It rewards viewers who enjoyed the setup and want emotional payoff alongside the violence. Best watched after the first volume, as a deliberate, talkier conclusion to the story.
