Our take on The Hangover Part III

Todd Phillips closes his raucous comedy trilogy in 2013, this time skipping the wedding and the bachelor party entirely. The setup teases a calmer trip, but predictably nothing about the Wolfpack's road stays under control for long. As a straight comedy, it leans on the group's familiar chemistry and escalating chaos rather than the blackout-mystery structure of the earlier films. It plays best as a finale for viewers already invested in these characters and their misadventures; newcomers may find less to hold onto. Come for the manic banter and the sense of a wild story being tied off, not for anything gentle or restrained.
