Jaume Collet-Serra's 2011 thriller drops a man into every commuter's nightmare: he wakes from a coma to find a stranger wearing his name and his life, with even his wife insisting she's never met him. Aided by a young woman, he sets out to prove his own identity while the ground keeps shifting beneath him. It's a brisk, paranoid mystery built on the primal fear of not being believed, leaning on European locations and mounting doubt rather than nonstop action. Good company for viewers who enjoy amnesia puzzles and identity twists, and who don't mind a plot that keeps pulling the rug out.
