About Valkyrie

Wounded in Africa during World War II, Nazi Col. Claus von Stauffenberg returns to his native Germany and joins the Resistance in a daring plan to create a shadow government and assassinate Adolf Hitler. Bryan Singer's 2008 wartime thriller follows Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg, a decorated German officer wounded in Africa who returns home and joins the Resistance in a plot to topple the Nazi regime. The plan is audacious: assassinate Hitler and install a shadow government amid the ensuing chaos. When circumstances push Stauffenberg to the center, he must both orchestrate the coup and carry out the killing himself. Blending drama with tightening suspense, it suits viewers drawn to history-based thrillers and morally weighted stories of conscience under tyranny.
